The Privacy Case

The Shut-It privacy phone case is a product we have been developing for a number of years. The purpose of this product is to provide the user more privacy and peace of mind, when they choose. Unwanted targeted ads as well as AI/hackers looking and listening in continues to become a greater inevitability as technology grows. With our patented method, our product allows the user the ability to open and close all cameras and microphones on their mobile device whenever they choose. This mobile device case uses sound dampening foam technology to cover all microphones as well as physical covers for all cameras.

How does it work?

Simply insert your phone into case and shut firmly for 5-10 seconds to allow sound dampening foam to form around microphones. Then open and close case using slider on back of case, and enjoy more privacy!

Can I still use my phone?

Yes. You can make calls, listen to music or videos, and access camera when the case is in the open position. Microphone and camera access is restricted when case is in the closed position.

Is it durable?

Yes. The Shut-It case is drop tested and manufactured using highly durable materials to ensure your phone is always protected from wear and tear.

Will this block everything?

The Shut-It case is designed to significantly reduce the ability of prying eyes and ears from hearing or seeing you when chosen by the user.

Are there different colors?

We currently are offering the Shut-It case in black and compatable with the iPhone 12/12pro. Additional models and colors are coming soon!

How can I test if this works?

To test the sound dampening function try saying “hey Siri” in the closed position. If Siri can hear you, try compressing case together for an additional few seconds then re-test. If you are not satisfied with performance please reach out to us support@shutit.org
