LIMITED WARRANTY

Bodyguard Technologies, Inc. (“Company”) expressly warrants that this product shall be
free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of its
original purchase. If the product fails to function during the warranty period solely due to a
manufacturing defect, the Company will, at its option, repair or replace the product without
charge or refund the cost of the product. Company's obligation as to repair or replacement shall
be limited to repair or replacement with the styles, models and colors of the Product that are
available at the time of the repair or replacement. Any repaired or replaced product shall remain
subject to the original one (1) year warranty from the date of the original purchase. Any repair or
replacement shall not extend the original warranty period or start a new warranty period. This
Extended Warranty applies to the original purchaser (the "Owner";) only and may not be assigned
or transferred to subsequent owners
You may obtain coverage under this Limited Warranty by returning the defective product
to the Company along with your name, address, proof of purchase, proof of date of purchase, and
a written description of the nature of the defect. All warranty claims should be made by mail, to:
Bodyguard Technologies, Inc., PO Box 977, Salem, MA 01970.
This Warranty does not apply: (a) to consumable parts, such as protective coatings or
materials that are designed to diminish over time, unless failure has occurred due to a defect in
materials or workmanship; (b) to cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches and/or
dents unless failure has occurred due to a defect in materials or workmanship; (c) to damage to
the Product caused by accident, unreasonable use or abuse of the Product, failure to follow the
written installation and use instructions, modification of the Product to alter its capability or

functionality, or any other external cause; (d) to defects caused by normal wear and tear or
otherwise, due to the normal aging of the Product.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which
vary from state to state.
THE REMEDIES PROVIDED IN THE ABOVE EXPRESS LIMITED
WARRANTY ARE THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDIES AVAILABLE TO YOU.
NO OTHER EXPRESS WARRANTIES ARE MADE. ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES,
INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF
MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR USE, ARE
LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS EXPRESS WARRANTY
SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN
IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO
YOU.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

EXCEPT AS PROVIDED IN THIS WARRANTY AND TO THE MAXIMUM
EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COMPANY SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
DIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, PUNITIVE OR EXEMPLARY
DAMAGES RESULTING FROM ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY OR CONDITION,
OR UNDER ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY. OR ANY INDIRECT OR
CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS OR DAMAGE HOWSOEVER CAUSED, INCLUDING THE
REPLACEMENT OF EQUIPMENT AND PROPERTY, ANY COSTS OF
RECOVERING, PROGRAMMING, OR REPRODUCING ANY PROGRAM OR DATA
STORED ON ANY DEVICE USED WITH THE PRODUCT OR ANY FAILURE TO

MAINTAIN THE CONFIDENTIALITY OF INFORMATION STORED ON A DEVICE
USED WITH THE PRODUCT.
SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF
INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR
EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
LEGAL REMEDIES: ANY ACTION TO ENFORCE THIS EXPRESS OR ANY
IMPLIED WARRANTY SHALL NOT BE COMMENCED MORE THAN ONE (1) YEAR
AFTER THE EXPIRATION OF THIS EXPRESS WARRANTY. SOME STATES DO
NOT ALLOW THE REDUCTION OF THE STATUTE OF LIMITATIONS, SO THE
ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
